Why is it Lord
That you let your name
Shield such faceless acts
Of hurtful pain

So I ask you then

How is it Lord
So many wield your sword
Yet few will burden
On your cross

So I ask you then

What is it Lord
That you will have with us
Please show yourself
In relief

So I ask you then

Where is it Lord
That we should strive
Not to be forsaken
By the suffering

So I ask you then

When is it Lord
Time to dawn the rise
And shine your light
Upon this world

So I ask you then

When is it Lord
That you will answer me
I've waited long enough
For my release
