From seas of these shining waves
I have traveled over these amber grains
In pursuit of my clear destiny
As a child here of dear lady liberty

Are we the children of thee?
If so may I go
In sacrifices bold
To the relief and unburden of need


In desperation for freedom's rain
This bastard child no mother would claim
Washes clean the stench of tyranny
In great sacrifices to set us free

Why is the world questioning thee
Have we lost our way
And brutalized the day
Which decides all our fates to be free
