POETRY KINDRED SPIRIT FREE
Awakening this morning Was the rising of a new dawn A friend of mine leaned over Said can I take you along We're moving along now Got a place we need to be Growing stronger Knowing what we will see It is the time, framework in place To open the mind, create a kinder space Leaving the fear, based frame of thought Seeing a clear-pane portal caught Life is the most precious of all Let's not condemn ourselves for the fall And next time when your seeming free Remember why you can be so happy We're moving along now Got a place we need to be Growing stronger Knowing what we will see We perceive the one so dear A child at home on a cosmic sphere Planet grown, a most beautiful home Why we wonder where it's gone Let us not throw away this place A face we call the human race It must be time to shed the grace Illuminate with global haste We're moving along now Got a place we need to be Growing stronger Knowing what we will see Can't you see all the birds and bees Swaying along with the rocks and trees Why not be kindred spirit free Follow the flow to the mountain peaks Why not feel a little freer still Rising into the winds of change Let them carry you Up to the sky of blue Soaring higher with an eagle's grace.
