POETRY EGO
Twisted wretch dangles in the wind Vessel where a soul has been Blowing words in a torrid storm Thrashing thoughts that cause no harm Rage on, little mind, rage on! Clashing swords with Phadreus' intent Crashing sounds without relent Stirs the rage of a sage Who silently closes the cage To capture, little mind, to enrapture! With calming discontent Vows to never relent The rage dissipates Feelings congregate To silence, little mind, be still. And for once in a while Crack out a smile To remind, little mind, be kind. ~ DBrown Fisher © Nov 1994
