ABSURDITY

How little we, as humans being, developed with time
Knowledge seen, not derived, still hiding in Plato's cave
We come out to work and are caught in the bright lights
Bugs buzzing about, festering carrion beliefs, accepting blind faith
All senses working, we know but refuse to make efforts
To understand, to bask in the light, to be

Instead
Light frightened plight
Back into the cave
Ourselves to hide
